*KUIGA NJIA ZA KRISTO*
*Yesu aliposikia aliwaambia, wenye afya hawahitaji tabibu, bali walio hawawezi; Sikuja kuwaita wenye haki, bali wenye dhambi.* Marko 2:17
✍🏽 Hakuna mwalimu aliyewahi kuweka heshima kubwa Kwa wanadamu kama alivyofanya Bwana na Mwalimu wetu. Alifahamika kama "rafiki wa watoza ushuru na wenye dhambi." Alijichanganya na tabaka zote za jamii, ili wote waweze kushiriki baraka ambazo alikuja kuwapa. Alikwenda katika sinagogi na katika soko. Alishiriki Maisha ya kijamii ya watu wa nchi yake, akifurahia kwa uwapo Wake kaya za wote waliomwalika. Lakini kamwe hakushinikiza kwenda asikoalikwa.
✍🏽 Alikuwa mwenye bidii Katika kupunguza kila aina ya mateso ya mwanadamu ambayo yaliletwa kwake kwa imani ili kupata msaada; lakini hakutoa nguvu ya uponyaji ovyo ovyo ambapo palidhihirishwa kujitegemea na upweke wa kibinafsi ambao hautatoa udhihirisho wa masikitiko wala kuomba msaada unaohitajika sana. Wote waliokuja kwake kwa imani alikuwa tayari na mwenye kupenda kuwafariji. Huzuni ilikimbia mbele zake; udhalimu na uonevu ulinyauka chini ya makemeo Yake; na kifo, mharibu mkatili wa jamii yetu yenye dhambi, kilitii amri Zake.
✍🏽 Katika kila zama tangu Kristo alipokuwa miongoni mwa wanadamu, kumekuwa na baadhi ambao, wakati ambapo wakikiri jina Lake, wamefuata njia ya kujitenga au ya umashuhuri wa Kifarisayo. Lakini hawajawabariki wanadamu wenzao. hawakupata udhuru katika maisha ya Kristo kuwa sababu ya ushupavu huu wa kujihesabia haki; kwa kuwa tabia yake ilikuwa ni ya kupendeza na ukarimu. Angeweza kutengwa kutoka katika kila shirika la watawa duniani kwa sababu ya kukanyaga kanuni zao zilizoagizwa. Katika kila kanisa na dhehebu hupatikana wapotovu ambao wangemlaumu kwa rehema zake za ukarimu ....
🔘 *Wale ambao Mungu amewakabidhi ukweli wake lazima wapange ushirikiano wao na ulimwengu kwa jinsi ya kuwawezesha kupata utulivu, amani iliyotukuzwa, pia na maarifa matakatifu na kamili ya jinsi ya kukutana na watu na hisi zao za chuki pale walipo, na kuwasaidia mwanga, faraja na amani inayopatikana katika ukubali wa ukweli wa Mungu. Wanapaswa kuchukua kwa mfano maisha ya Kristo yenye mvuto, yenye mamlaka na ya kijamii. Wanapaswa kukuza roho ile ile ya ukarimu aliyokuwa nayo, na inabidi wathamini mipango mipana ya utendaji ya kukutana na watu mahali pale walipo.*

*COPYING CHRIST'S METHODS*
*When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.* Mark 2:17.
✍🏽 No teacher ever placed such signal honor upon man as did our Lord and Master. He was known as a “friend of publicans and sinners.” He mingled with all classes of society, that all might partake of the blessings He came to bestow. He was found in the synagogue and in the market place. He shared the social life of His countrymen, gladdening with His presence the households of all who invited Him. But He never urged His way uninvited.
✍🏽 He was active to relieve every species of human misery that was brought to Him in faith for relief; but He did not bestow healing power indiscriminately where there was manifested an independence and selfish exclusiveness that would give no expression to their sorrows nor ask for the help so much needed. All who came unto Him in faith He was ready and willing to relieve. Sorrow fled at His presence; injustice and oppression withered beneath His rebukes; and death, the cruel spoiler of our sinful race, obeyed His commands.
✍🏽 In every age since Christ was among men, there have been some who, while they professed His name, have pursued a course of seclusion or of Pharisaical preeminence. But they have not blessed their fellow men. They have found no excuse in the life of Christ for this self-righteous bigotry; for His character was genial and beneficent. He would have been excluded from every monastic order upon earth because of overstepping their prescribed rules. In every church and denomination are to be found erratics who would have blamed Him for His liberal mercies....
🔘 *Those with whom God has entrusted His truth must so order their intercourse with the world as to secure to themselves a calm, hallowed peace, as well as a sacred and most thorough knowledge of how to meet men with their prejudices where they are, and minister to them the light, comfort, and peace found in the acceptance of the truth of God. They should take for example the inspiring, authoritative and social life of Christ. They must cultivate the same beneficent spirit which He possessed, and must cherish the same broad plans of action in meeting men where they are.*

*SABATO MCHANA*

*Fungu la Kukariri: “Mtafanya kazi siku sita; lakini siku ya saba ni Sabato ya kustarehe kabisa, kusanyiko takatifu; msifanye kazi ya namna yo yote; ni Sabato kwa Bwana katika makao yenu yote” (Mambo ya Walawi 23:3).*
Tunasikia namna zote za hoja dhidi ya utunzaji wa Sabato ya siku ya saba, au sio? Tunasikia kila kitu kutoka kwa, Yesu aliibadili Sabato kuwa Jumapili, au kwamba Yesu aliikomesha Sabato, au kwamba Paulo alifanya, au kwamba mitume walibadilisha Sabato kuwa Jumapili kwa kuheshimu ufufuo, na kadhalika. Kwa miaka ya karibuni, baadhi ya hoja zimekuwa za kisasa zaidi, zikidai, kwa mfano, kwamba Yesu ndiye pumziko letu la Sabato, na hivyo basi, hatuhitaji kuitunza siku au kuitakasa siku yoyote. Na, bila shaka, daima kutakuwapo hoja, ya ajabu kama ilivyo, kwamba kwa kupumzika katika siku ya saba kwa namna fulani tunatafuta kwenda mbinguni kwa nguvu zetu wenyewe.
Kwa upande mwingine, baadhi ya Wakristo wamependezwa zaidi na wazo la pumziko, la siku ya pumziko, na ingawa wanatoa hoja kwamba siku hiyo ni Jumapili au kwamba haidhuru, wamechukua dhana ya kibiblia ya pumziko na kwa nini ni muhimu.
Bila shaka. kama Waadventista wa Sabato tunaelewa kudumu kwa sheria ya Mungu ya maadili na kwamba utii kwa amri ya nne, kama inavyosomeka, si kutafuta kwenda mbinguni kwa nguvu zetu kuliko ambavyo ingekuwa utii kwa amri ya tano, ya sita, ya kwanza, au amri nyingine yoyote.
Juma hili tutaangalia zaidi katika pumziko ambalo Mungu ametupatia katika amri ya Sabato na kwa nini ni muhimu.

*SABBATH REST*
*Sabbath Afternoon*
👉 Read for This Week’s Study: Gen. 1:26, 27; Gen. 9:6; 2 Pet. 2:19; Rom. 6:1–7; Exod. 19:6; John 5:7–16.
*Memory Text: “Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work on it; it is the Sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings” (Lev. 23:3, NKJV).*
We hear all sorts of arguments against keeping the seventh-day Sabbath, don’t we? We hear that Jesus changed the Sabbath to Sunday or that Jesus abolished the Sabbath or that Paul did or that the apostles replaced the seventh-day Sabbath with Sunday in honor of the Resurrection and so forth. In recent years, some of the arguments have become more sophisticated, claiming, for instance, that Jesus is our Sabbath rest, and therefore we don’t need to keep that day or any day holy. And, of course, there will always be the argument, strange as it is, that by resting on the seventh day we are somehow seeking to work our way to heaven.
On the other hand, some Christians have become more interested in the idea of rest, of a day of rest, and though they argue that the day is Sunday or that it doesn’t matter, they have picked up on the biblical notion of rest and why it is important.
Of course, as Seventh-day Adventists we understand the perpetuity of God’s moral law and that obedience to the fourth commandment, as it reads, is no more working our way to heaven than would be obedience to the fifth, sixth, first, or any other commandment.
This week we will look more at the rest God has given us in the Sabbath commandment and why it’s important.

USOMAJI WA BIBLIA KWA MPANGO
WARUMI 4
1. Basi, tusemeje juu ya Ibrahimu, baba yetu kwa jinsi ya mwili?
2. Kwa maana ikiwa Ibrahimu alihesabiwa haki kwa ajili ya matendo yake, analo la kujisifia; lakini si mbele za Mungu.
3. Maana maandiko yasemaje? Ibrahimu alimwamini Mungu, ikahesabiwa kwake kuwa haki.
4. Lakini kwa mtu afanyaye kazi, ujira wake hauhesabiwi kuwa ni neema, bali kuwa ni deni.
5. Lakini kwa mtu asiyefanya kazi, bali anamwamini yeye ambaye amhesabia haki asiyekuwa mtauwa, imani yake mtu huyo imehesabiwa kuwa haki.
6. Kama vile Daudi aunenavyo uheri wake mtu yule ambaye Mungu amhesabia kuwa na haki pasipo matendo,
7. Heri waliosamehewa makosa yao, Na waliositiriwa dhambi zao.
8. Heri mtu yule ambaye Bwana hamhesabii dhambi.
9. Basi je! Uheri huo ni kwa hao waliotahiriwa, au kwa hao pia wasiotahiriwa? Kwa kuwa twanena ya kwamba kwake Ibrahimu imani yake ilihesabiwa kuwa ni haki.
10. Alihesabiwaje basi? Alipokwisha kutahiriwa, au kabla hajatahiriwa? Si baada ya kutahiriwa, bali kabla ya kutahiriwa.
11. Naye aliipokea dalili hii ya kutahiriwa, muhuri ya ile haki ya imani aliyokuwa nayo kabla hajatahiriwa; apate kuwa baba yao wote waaminio, ijapokuwa hawakutahiriwa, ili na wao pia wahesabiwe haki;
12. tena awe baba ya kutahiriwa, kwa wale ambao si waliotahiriwa tu, bali pia wanazifuata nyayo za imani yake baba yetu Ibrahimu aliyokuwa nayo kabla hajatahiriwa.
13. Kwa maana ahadi ile ya kwamba atakuwa mrithi wa ulimwengu alipewa Ibrahimu na uzao wake, si kwa sheria bali kwa haki aliyohesabiwa kwa imani.
14. Maana ikiwa wale wa sheria ndio warithi, imani imekuwa bure, na ahadi imebatilika.
15. Kwa sababu sheria ndiyo ifanyayo hasira; maana pasipokuwapo sheria, hapana kosa.
16. Kwa hiyo ilitoka katika imani, iwe kwa njia ya neema, ili kwamba ile ahadi iwe imara kwa wazao wote; si kwa wale wa torati tu, ila na kwa wale wa imani ya Ibrahimu; aliye baba yetu sisi sote;
17. (kama ilivyoandikwa, Nimekuweka kuwa baba wa mataifa mengi); mbele zake yeye aliyemwamini, yaani Mungu, mwenye kuwahuisha wafu, ayatajaye yale yasiyokuwako kana kwamba yamekuwako.
18. Naye aliamini kwa kutarajia yasiyoweza kutarajiwa, ili apate kuwa baba wa mataifa mengi, kama ilivyonenwa, Ndivyo utakavyokuwa uzao wako.
19. Yeye asiyekuwa dhaifu wa imani, alifikiri hali ya mwili wake uliokuwa umekwisha kufa, (akiwa amekwisha kupata umri wa kama miaka mia), na hali ya kufa ya tumbo lake Sara.
20. Lakini akiiona ahadi ya Mungu hakusita kwa kutokuamini, bali alitiwa nguvu kwa imani, akimtukuza Mungu;
21. huku akijua hakika ya kuwa Mungu aweza kufanya yale aliyoahidi.
22. Kwa hiyo ilihesabiwa kwake kuwa ni haki.
23. Walakini haikuandikwa kwa ajili yake tu kwamba ilihesabiwa kwake;
24. bali na kwa ajili yetu sisi mtakaohesabiwa vivyo hivyo, sisi tunaomwamini yeye aliyemfufua Yesu Bwana wetu katika wafu;
25. ambaye alitolewa kwa ajili ya makosa yetu, na kufufuliwa ili mpate kuhesabiwa haki.
